Dr. Robyn Fraser BSc, ND, M.OMSc, is freshening up the Kickstart Cleanse that she has been running for several years. The focus of the Eat To Live group will be to add the Daily Dozen healthy foods to your diet while discussing the most up-to-date nutritional information that supports this. The group will also learn simple stress reduction techniques as well as which body and home-care products are safest and work best.

Please note: No supplements are required on this cleanse!

 The Basics:

3-4 weeks of adding the Daily Dozen to your diet:
  • Beans, berries, other fruits, cruciferous veggies, greens, other veggies, flaxseeds, nuts, spices, whole grains, beverages, exercise
  • 3-4 weeks of avoiding or minimizing:
  • Animal products, processed foods, refined sugars

Included in the Group Cleanse:

  • 5 weekly one hour meetings with health professional Robyn Fraser, BSc, ND, M.OMSc.
  • Handouts of over a week's worth of breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack recipes.
  • Information and handouts discussing researched based nutrition, stress-reduction and best home and body-care products.
  • Information and handouts on books, websites and other valuable resources.
  • 5 weeks of professional support and key health information to help you succeed in the dietary changes and optimize your well-being in all areas of your life, including stress reduction techniques
  • On top of the 5 weekly meetings, Robyn will be available to answer your nutrition-based questions via phone or email for the duration of the group.
  • The support of others in the group who are also participating in the dietary changes.

Five Week Outline: (it's okay if you can't make each week)

Week One: Introduction to the Daily Dozen. How to keep your Heart Happy and minimize your risk of heart disease. What foods are best to eat for this? Which are best avoided? Stress-reduction techniques introduced (and practiced each week, as time permits)

Week Two: How to add Longevity to your Lungs. Let's learn how to avoid and/or improve lung diseases such as asthma, COPD and cancer. Ditching Diabetes: how to dump this dreaded disease by eating elegantly.

Week Three: How to decrease your risk of Brain Diseases (stroke, Alzheimer's). We'll discuss the research showing the best foods to boost your brain and deter these diseases. Impeding Infections: What to eat to Enhance Immunity and what risky foods to avoid.

Week Four: How to Cancel Cancer's Call: We'll discuss the best research on minimizing your risk of some of our most common cancers such as colon, blood, breast and prostate.

Week Five:
We'll discuss any lingering nutritional questions, discuss the healthiest body-care and home-care products you can buy or even make at home and how to keep the Daily Dozen in your diet. This is just the start of a healthier, happier you!

Cost:

$115 for the entire 5 weeks. May be covered by you extended naturopathic health plans. Contact Robyn to discuss.

Home Option:

If you can recruit a minimum of 6 friends plus yourself, Robyn will come to your home to facilitate this group. This offer is limited to within the Guelph area. Contact Robyn if interested.
